This set of Active guitar pickups has a wide frequency response and no noise to provide modern, hi-tech tone. It’s the highest output set of pickups that we make. The specially designed 18 volt system is powered by two 9-volt batteries (not supplied). With 18 volts you get much more dynamic range, a more open sound, and more output. The top end has brilliance and sparkle but it’s not harsh. The mids have a solid punch and the low end is solid and tight – even at loud volumes.

Each pickup is specially calibrated for either the bridge or neck/middle position so pickup to pickup volume is balanced and compensation for string excursion is provided for. By following the enclosed instructions, it’s easy to upgrade your guitar tone with Live Wire pickups.

All Pickups are Wax potted AND sealed in epoxy to eliminate microphonic feedback. This set is a direct replacement and requires no guitar modification.

Wiring scematics, mounting screws, potentiometers, battery clips, ¼” switching jack, and wire are included.
